Memorial and commemoration plaques and artwork are available with our street and park seats. Whether in remembrance of a loved one, to mark a particular event, or in recognition of a community effort, there are a number of ways you can use our seats as a lasting reference
When considering the contribution of a memorial or commemorative seat to your local community, we suggest you first discuss the options with your council’s parks and reserves staff.  They can advise you on location options, and any restrictions or guidelines they have for contributing to their public furnishings.

If we can help introduce you to the right people at the council, just give us a call. That’s also an opportunity to discuss your options with us, for later seat and design selection once the decision to proceed is made.
Memorials can be recognised by either metal plaque or routed engraving directly into the seat material. All metal plaques are rebated into the seat slats for a flush surface finish. Our recycled plastic seats in particular are ideal for engraving, the results of which can then be hand painted in your colours of choice.
